Early Booking of Flights

All airlines now sell the cheap flights seats to early bookers. Direct flights are the cheapest , as low as £250 from Gatwick Manchester and Birmingham. Book early as seats run out on popular dates and prices of connecting flights increase as availability falls on all airlines.

"Tommy are so unorganised and unhelpful. We got stranded on the island for over 28 hours as the aircraft provided was old. The runway has no lighting so it shuts at 6pm and nothing can take off or land. If you are unlucky enough to get stranded like we did, don’t expect to be taken back to an hoted for food and shelte. We waited for 8 hours in the airport and at midnight to a dirty guest house. Some were just given mats to sleep on in a corridor of an apartment while the reps went back to their beds.

Stansted flights have ended after an unreliable performance

A from Cambs was cancelled at 48 hours notice on the Stansted flights which he had foolishly tried to book without travel agency assistance, or advice.

"I had booked about a month early to go on the Stansted-Sal flight. But less than 48 hours from departure time, a message was left on my mobile that both flights had been cancelled! A full refund was offered. Alternatives via Lisbon were mentioned. To get through to them by telephone was a nightmare ."

M from London gave up trying

"Every time I have tried to get through to the call centre I have either had to wait about 20 minutes (on an expensive 0808 number) or I had to give up after holding too long. Also their website has been "under construction" for ages so you have no choice but to phone them or use a travel agency."
